Who We Are

Sri. R.Ponnusamy Naidu College of Education, Kakkivadanpatti is one of the best colleges affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, offering B.Ed Programme under the self financing scheme. It was started by the Sri. R.Ponnusamy Naidu Telugu Minority Educational and Charitable Trust, Kakkivadanpatti, Sivakasi (via), Virudhunagar District during the academic year 2007-2008. Mr. K. Kannan is the Correspondent of the college. The college is located at Kakkivadenpatti village on the Alangulam - Sivakasi road at a distance of 8 kms from Sivakasi.

Eligibility

Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor's Degree are eligible for the admission to the course other than subjects like Economics, Commerce, for which PG Qualification is mandatory.

Note:
1. To arrive at above percentage of marks, the marks obtained in Part-III Major and Allied (Ancillary) subjects including practical alone shall be taken into account.
2. The candidate who qualified in P.G. Degree and secured 50% of marks with the same major subjects in UG Degree but not fulfilling the minimum percentage of marks rquired in UG Degree as per community / category wise are also be eligible.

Library

Rules & Regulation

• Library working hours : 09:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.
• Lunch Break : 01:00 p.m. to 02:30 p.m.
• Staff / Students should sign the "Entry Register" on entering the Library.
• Strict SILENCE should be maintained within the Library.
• Books, Journals, Magazines and Newspapers should be replaced at their respective positions after their usage.
• A maximum of FIVE books shall be borrowed from the Library for a maximum time of 30 (Thirty) days.
• Books should be returned or renewed on or brfore the due date failinf, a fine of Rs.1.00 per day will be collected.
• Library articles such as books, magazines, journals, newspaper etc should not be damaged. Failinf a damage fee (twice the cose of the article) will be collected.
• Failing to return the books before the scheduled time (as and when announced by the college) shall be fined and a fine (Thrice the cost of the book) will be collected.
• No due certificate from the library should be obtained before getting your Hall Ticket / TC and other certificates.
