CuBit Creative

CuBit Creative is my design shop and platform incubator. Founded in 2017, it's been the springboard for many projects, including one-off builds for clients and a handful of SaaS products that I've built and maintained.
Founder & Owner
8 years (May. 2017 – Current)
Built a business around web development, graphic design, video production, and other tech-centric services for external clients. Launched multiple SaaS products for specific needs and use-cases.
- Developed and maintained TwentyFor, a fundraising platform for federated non-profits.
- Developed and maintained CuBit Cutting, a videography platform for media providers.
- Provided branding services for new startups, as well as established businesses.
- Built and hosted a portfolio of marketing websites for a diverse client set.
- Produced client videos, from concept and storyboarding to filming, editing, and delivery.
- Managed on-site video production and livestreaming for client events.
Delta Sigma Phi
Indianapolis, IN / Remote
Delta Sigma Phi is a collegiate fraternity in the United States. Created at the City College of New York in 1899, it was the first fraternity centered around the principles of religious and ethnic acceptance. Today, Delta Sig has well over 100,000 living members and several hundred undergraduate and alumni groups across the country.
Chief Technology Officer
3 years (Jan. 2021 – Dec. 2023)
Established a long-term vision for the organization's use of technology, updated and managed our holistic tech stack. Enhanced communication, improved operational efficiency, and provided data oversight across all three branches of the national organization. Worked with leadership to leverage technology for communications, fundraising, recruitment, and program delivery.
- Spearheaded a critical, org-wide data migration from a legacy CRM to Salesforce, executing an ETL strategy for millions of historical records and improving accessibility and operational efficiency.
- Designed, built and maintained an internal API and custom SSO bridge, allowing for flexible integrations between our system of record and a suite of web applications.
- Resolved software fragmentation by consolidating and centralizing productivity software, transitioning ~50 staff and volunteer accounts and providing comprehensive training.
- Developed multiple purpose-built microsites, including platforms for a biennial convention, chapter growth performance, and internal staff utilities (eg, knowledge hub, email signature generator), enhancing member outreach and internal support.
- Managed and optimized cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, including domains, web servers, databases, object storage, caching and backup systems, ensuring robust and scalable performance.
- Oversaw IT operations and strategy across the entire org, including budgeting, implementing a BYOD policy, providing technical support, and mentoring junior IT staff.
Director of Digital Initiatives

Developed and maintained new and existing web applications. Collaborated on a brand refresh, provided support for other departments, and helped craft a cohesive digital experience for undergraduate and alumni members.
- Designed and developed a web app for the organization's biennial Convention, including an admin dashboard for managing events, attendees, product orders and other records.
- Crafted brand assets—including wordmarks, logos and custom icons—for the enterprise, its educational programs, and a variety of digital and print publications.
- Built multiple web-based utilities, including a growth performance tracker, email signature generator, staff knowledge base, online election platform, recruitment referral system, and custom form builder.
- Shot and edited a variety of video content for leadership programming, managing all phases from initial planning and recording, to post-production edits and final rendering.
Media Development Coordinator

Conceptualized and created a variety of digital media. Coordinated across departments on web content, graphic design, print layout, video production, photography & social media for the organization.
- Designed custom graphics for email, social media, websites, and print publications.
- Built and maintained HTML email templates for transactional and marketing messages.
- Assisted with copywriting and editing for social posts, magazines and newsletters.
- Captured and edited photos for staff profiles, leadership programming, and other events.
Growth Coordinator

Established new component groups at colleges and universities across the country, by building relationships with collegiate men, campus professionals and surrounding communities.
- Built hundreds of relationships through 1:1 meetings with potential new members.

The Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance is a consortium of public universities that offer flexible degree and certificate programs in human sciences and agriculture.
Communications & Marketing Assistant

Supported a small team of campus coordinators and outreach staff, by creating and managing a variety of marketing materials for both digital and in-person recruitment efforts.
- Designed marketing templates for banners, handouts, and other print-based projects.
- Wrote and maintained HTML, CSS and jQuery for the Great Plains IDEA and affiliated websites.
- Collaborated with team members on annual reports, brand updates and templates.
Kansas State University

K-State is a land-grant research university, founded in 1863 as the first public institution of higher learning in Kansas. Today, it has a total enrollment of ~20,000 students.
VPSL Office Assistant
2 years (Jun. 2010 – May. 2012)
Provided support to the Office of Student Life and its Vice President. Served on a small team, responsible for clerical work, communication, recruitment support, and interaction tracking.
- Managed multiple calendars for Vice President and Director-level roles.
- Assisted with cross-departmental and campus-wide communication.
- Gave campus tours to prospective students and families.
Orientation Leader
3 months (May. 2010 – Jul. 2010)
Worked with a team of undergraduate K-State students to plan and execute the summer orientation and enrollment program for all incoming K-State freshmen.
Sellers Feedlot
Lyons, KS
Sellers Feedlot is a custom cattle-feeding operation located in Lyons, Kansas. Family-owned and operated since 1917, the yard has expanded over the years and now has a capacity of roughly 12,000 cattle.
Feed Truck Driver
4 years (Jun. 2006 – Aug. 2010)
Ensured cattle received precise rations on a consistent schedule throughout the day. Operated a telehandler and other heavy equipment to carefully weigh, load and mix specific ingredients (like silage, grain, and supplements) into a purpose-built feed truck, based on formulas provided by nutritionists.
Yard Assistant
4 years (Jun. 2002 – Jun. 2006)
Assisted with general maintenance, upkeep and improvements at the feed yard and adjacent farm ground. Cleaned pens and water tanks, monitored irrigation systems, doctored cattle, maintained grounds, repaired fence, and supported senior team members with various projects.
