Hi there, I'm Casey. I build useful stuff for great people.

Together with my feisty family of five (counting our dog), I live south of Kansas City, where I craft both digital and physical goodies for cool organizations and exceptional people.

As a farm-kid in central Kansas, I was always making something out of nothing; solving problems with limited resources was the name of the game. I'm a big believer in field experience—nothing beats getting your hands dirty to build or improve a thing, and learning along the way.

During my college years in The Little Apple™, I learned to apply that resourcefulness in new ways. Through class projects, campus jobs and volunteer opportunities, I put my creative muscle to work. I learned a great deal from some brilliant professors, but most of my webdev and digital media chops came from building things for other people.

After graduation, I moved to Indy for my first job as a recruitment coordinator for Delta Sig, and ultimately served as the organization's first CTO. I also started a couple of businesses:

• CuBit Creative: studio for web dev, graphic design, photo & video
• CuBit Cutting: digital media platform for NCHA horse cuttings
• TwentyFor: online fundraising tools for non-profit organizations
